Here are a few antique treasures of mine. They mostly hide in boxes or wait to be painted in my studio.
Some are actually dusted regularly and admired always by me. A few have made it into a still life painting - well lit with backlighting for a few weeks at a time.
The Chinese lacquered chest is home to most - dark, perfect for protecting delicate hand painting and gold leaf designs - painted 50 or more years ago, washed in dishwater regularly, dried with soft cloths before damaging Dawn was invented.
They still have the gold stripes and as long as I keep them carefully - they will have them still after I am gone.
A few of my treasures...
Thank you for visiting - a little off topic from rose gardening today but I hope you enjoyed it!
